This CD is a 'must have' for all Clara Rockmore Fans. This is the world premiere recording of Anis Fuleihan's Concerto for Theremin and Orchestra, and the only commercially available recording of Clara Rockmore with Orchestra. The Concerto is a thereministic tour de force - Rockmore specified that the concerto should explore the full breadth of the theremin, from long legatos, to stacatto, and exploit the instrument's entire range.

The rest of the CD explores an eclectic mix of historic music recordings - Elgar rehearsing his Second Symphony, and a live recording of Arturo Toscanini performing God Save the Queen are just two of the wspine-tingling highlights of this compilation CD.
