New Android app 'Tilt Theremin' uses accelerometer to resemble theremin

The new Android app lets you play melodies by tilting the phone from side to side in the air.

The newly released Android app is a softsynth which controls frequencies using the accelerometer, and thereby lets you play melodies by tilting the phone from side to side in the air. It also has a number of other features, like the ability to adjust the number of notes playable on 180 degrees of rotation, and pulling the range of notes up and down even as you play. There are 6 different sounds to choose from, as well as an echo effect with adjustable parameters.

Despite not being a very able operator of it, I've recorded a video for demonstrational purposes:

Happy tilting!
