Moog Etherwave Theremin Kit
The Etherwave theremin in kit form

We recommend the Moog Etherwave Theremin. Whilst it's a cheap instrument for beginners, it's also a fantastically versatile musical instrument. This is the classic Etherwave, in a partially assembled form.

This is the Moog Etherwave Theremin designed by the legendary Bob Moog. Bob's new Etherwave Theremin is of the same high quality as his earlier designs from the '50's and '60's, with 3/8" nickel-plated brass antennas. It completely puts the imitators to shame! The Etherwave has an enormous pitch range so that you can shake the room or play notes that Mariah Carey would have a hard time following. It mounts on any mic stand. You can plug it into your stereo, mixer, or guitar amp, and sounds amazing with reverb or delay added. It comes complete with the instructional videotape by Lydia Kavina, a documentary video about Clara Rockmore, a photo-history booklet by Bob Moog, and even a hot-rodding manual with ideas for setting up & customizing your beloved Theremin.

ZZounds.com is one of the biggest theremin selling sites on the web, and sells a huge selection of authentic Moog products. Customer Service and dispatch times are excellent, and they also ship worldwide.

Features
Classic shape nickel-plated 3/8" brass antennas Furniture-grade hardwoods & Birch plywood cabinet Chic black instrument-grade finish Complete w/Videos, Manual & Photo Booklet Volume, Pitch, Waveform & Brightness controls Bob Moog design!

This is the partially-built instrument. You get an instructional videotape by Lydia Kavina, a documentary video about Clara Rockmore, a photo-history booklet by Bob Moog, and a "hot-rodding" manual for customizing your theremin.

Just like electric guitars and many keyboards, theremins require amplification. While the Moog Theremin Amp is recommended, most keyboard amplifiers or PA systems should also be sufficient.
